[PR-KA1] Rear view camera

Connecting Wires
  • The “braid”/screen of the video cable from the camera must be connected to pin number 12 - black wire
  • To pin number 6 - the central core of the same cable - white wire
  • Orange-violet - to orange-violet Quadlock - gray connector 6 pin
  • Orange-brown - to orange-brown Quadlock - gray connector 12 pin
BE SURE TO CLOSE THE TRUNK WHEN CHECKING! If the camera is not calibrated, an error will appear - there are no basic parameters. You can also connect a Chinese camera to the GU without support for trajectories. But in this case it will be necessary to correct a number of encodings:
  1. Plus terminal 30 is taken from the Quadlock connector red or red-yellow thick
    1. Ground is taken from the Quadlock connector, brown thick

### Kessy rear handles

Equipment:
— handles 510837205G 510837206G
— wiring from the Tiguan assembly from the front doors
- connector to the mating part of the wiring
— pins for door connectors, 6 pieces each 12527545852 and 12527512135
— pins to the kessy block 6 pieces N90764701

Right door connection diagram:
![Screenshot](../images/MQB/addons/kessy-2.jpeg)

Left door connection diagram:
![Screenshot](../images/MQB/addons/kessy-1.jpeg)

Wiring principle:
Steps:
1. There are 4 wires from the handles - 3 to the kessy block, 1 to ground.
2. 3 wires from the handles must be pulled through the rubber coupling in the casing.
3. Next, the wires go through the corrugation to the door connector.

4. From the connector the wires go to the kessy block.
1. Disassemble the doors (remove the trim), dismantle the old ones and install new handles according to the instructions from ELSA, pull the wire out from the “wet” part of the door, laying it so that it does not catch on the glass when lowering.
2. Pull 3 wires from the finished wiring from the handles to the door connector, tie the ground to the ground on the door blocks, wind everything up with the factory braid and pin the connectors between the door and the pillar; for this you need to partially dismantle the wiring from the door.
3. We push the wires into the rear door connectors.
4. We push the handles into the connectors of the racks.
5. Along the threshold and along the wiring harness for the footwell lighting, we lay wires from the door pillar to the Kessy block and push the block according to the instructions.

RDKS (Reifen Druck Kontrolle System) or TPMS (Tires Pressure Monitoring System)

Parameter:

Equipment ID Parameter
(ODIS XML)
5Q0907273B (Download)

Actions Required

Circuit from ELSA (4 wires are used - 12V power supply, ground and CAN Ext High and Low wires) The CAN bus is located in the area of the hood release handle, behind the trim. Chip T17a and pins 12 (CAN High) and 13 (CAN Low) Power comes from the fuse box. If the “native” 7th fuse is busy, then you can use the free 45th or 38th. Coding
